Here kitty kitty

Danica loves cats. And I mean loves. Our neighbors have a small black cat named Bravo that is the most laid back cat I have ever seen. She had kittens a couple of months ago and I wish I had pictures of Danica chasing them around! Bravo came over to play one afternoon.

Danica just had to give the kitty loves!
And then pick her up
And then carry her around. And squeeze her and love on her some more.
Bravo does have all of her claws but has never even tried to scratch Danica. She just hangs there when Dani is holding her. You can hold her upside down (which Danica has) and she doesn't even squirm! Weird cat. And NO we don't need to get Danica one of her own!

Bubbles!

There is very little that will put Danica in a better mood than bubbles! She can be entertained by them for a loooong time. I have discovered that blowing bubbles can be very therapeutic. You definitely can't do it when you are mad or upset about something because it just doesn't work when you blow too hard! The bubble we used this particular day were ones from Gymboree. They are a gel based bubble that doesn't get your carpet all soapy but does give Danica that appearance of dandriff when all is said and done. They also blow a ton of bubbles that last forever and have awesome "hang" time.

She is such a ham with the camera! She has been tilting her head to the side and giving cheesy grins and after you take the picture she has to see it. She will then go back and pose for another.
She reaches so high on her tiptoes trying to reach the bubbles. This is her trying to poke each bubble very carefully. At one point she was popping them between her two pointer fingers. Very good hand-eye coordination. Of course I had already put the camera away before she did that.
She loves to step on the bubbles. Big time foot stomping going on until they are all popped.
