Big helper!

Danica so wanted to help fold laundry the other day and everyone knows how 2 year olds fold laundry is that they just unfold what you spent 15 minutes folding. So I let her help me put away the socks that had been folded. We got her little basket from her kitchen and she put the socks in it. She of course put too many in so they kept falling out but she picked them right back up.
She then very carefully carried them down the hall and helped put them away. It took several trips and she was upset when we were done because she wanted to do more! Hopefully this wanting to help continues. I'm not holding my breath though. :)

Hat time!

Occasionally Danica will get obsessed with her hats for two days and then ignore them for weeks. She came out of her room a few days ago with her hats on just like this.
She also loves shoes. Particularly Mommy and Daddy's shoes that are left around. She will put them on and start clomping around in them. She hasn't tripped yet (that I am aware of!) and thinks she is just so silly for doing it.

Huummm

Danica now does this almost whenever you say "huumm" I'm sure that I am spelling that wrong but if there is a right way to spell it let me know and I will fix it! She also will clap both hands over her mouth when you make the surprised intake of air sound. I hope that discription is clear enough. The one finger huumm has been observed when she is looking in the cupboard for her fruit snacks.

I had to share this picture! I was trying to get Danica out of the house to go over to her friend Larissa's house for a play date and she is allowed one doll with her. Not the 4 she was trying to take with. (the green is actually the feet of her christmas "Tree" doll.) We did make it out of the house with just one but there was definitely not a happy Danica that day!
