A couple of weeks ago Jason took Danica to see snow for the first time. It was a beautiful Saturday and after they went to swim class they took off to Opal Creek. Where was I you ask? At home sleeping of course. Nice weather always occurs on my weekend to work. According to Jason, Danica wasn't quite sure what to make of this white stuff. She apparently got very upset when it got on her shoes! And even though there was snow, it was quite warm so she wasn't freezing when she didn't have a coat on.

I believe this was the snack from after the hike! Lunch was before it.
She loves the backpack! She can see so much from it.
Did I mention that there was a little bit of snow up there? I can't remember if Jason said this was as tall as he is or not. Anyway it's alot of snow. Ever since going Danica has been obsessed with anything with a picture of snow on it. There are a couple of Backyardigan episodes with snow involved and they are her favorite.
